Family Shabbat
Join us on Saturday Febraury 17 at 1pm for a special Family Shabbat service. This service is for kids of all ages and their families. The service will be led from the Children’s Siddur and will include lots of singing and opportunities to get the wiggles out.
Our service will include a short Torah Service using the children’s Torah that was donated to the synagogue last year. This Torah scroll is small enough that even young kids will have the opportunity to hold it as we march around the sanctuary and sing. This Torah scroll is a special scroll for teaching, and includes both vowels and trope symbols, making it a great way to practice reading in front of the community. In place of a full Torah service, we will have three aliyot of three verses each. The perfect kid-sized taste of Torah.
